Description:Lakes Region Community Services is seeking a House Manager for the Broader Horizons Treatment Program. This position will be responsible for all facets of the daily operation and management of the homes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assures the regular, direct supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSP) occurs, including but not limited to performance evaluations, developing and monitoring staff development plans, and disciplinary action as needed
- Plans and facilitates monthly staff meetings
- Provides direct support services as needed;
- Demonstrates the competency, or willingness to learn complex medical and/or behavioral procedures performed in the home(s) as needed
- Maintains ability to administer medications for all individuals in assigned home(s)
- Ensures the promotion of health, safety and support for individuals
- Ensures that the home(s) meet all Agency’s procedures and all state/federal licensure/certification requirements
- The House Manager must participate in on-call rotation for after-hours coverage, and be willing to respond to emergencies after normal working hours.
Requirements:Candidates will possess a* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Human Services or Related field/ Relevant 2 years’ experience may be substituted*. Valid New Hampshire driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and agency determined minimal insurance coverage are also required.
The ideal candidates will have familiarity with medical procedures and terms as well as behavioral protocols, have the ability to pass and maintain certification for Medical Administration, be willing to work nights and weekends, as needed, and be willing to travel.
Valid NH Drivers' license, reliable vehicle, and agency-determined minimal motor vehicle insurance coverage are required. Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment physical capacity screening checks also required. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
