Hotel Housekeeper Job at Caesars Entertainment

Cleans, polishes, dusts and buffs furniture and furnishings. Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors. Cleans glass and mirrors. Dusts and vacuums fabric (furniture and draperies). Routinely inspects work areas, identifying cleaning needs, potential safety hazards, problems or repair needs, and handling same. Properly tags lost and found items and delivers them to the Housekeeping Office, for storage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Must be able to interpret and apply technical instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must possess good listening skills.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the work day.
  • The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.
  • The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
  • The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.
  • The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.
  • The physical ability to push, pull, and lift various furniture items such as mattresses, end tables, chairs, ottomans, lamps, and tables.
  • The physical ability to tolerate any required personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, safety goggles, and other protective equipment deemed appropriate on a continuous basis.
  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment
  • Attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule
