Hotel Front Desk Associate Job at Glenmere Mansion
Located deep in the rolling farmlands of the lower-Hudson Valley, only 60 minutes from Manhattan, sits a magnificent 150-acre estate crowned with a spectacular hilltop mansion known as Glenmere. The Gilded Age retreat was one of America's finest country homes, once host to royalty, aristocracy, and leading artists. Now it is reborn as a premier luxury hotel, restaurant and spa. Glenmere is seeking dedicated professionals, committed to delivering gracious hospitality and elegant service.
As a Guest Services Associate you will be required to ensure guests receive friendly, efficient and prompt service, answer all telephone inquiries, take reservations and booking inquiries.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience in reception and reservations in a 4/5 star hotel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization, administration and computer skills (Opera hotel reservation system)
- Excellent presentation
- Committed, hardworking, flexible and eager to learn.
To be a successful member of the Glenmere Mansion Team you must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests. You must have a positive attitude and willingness to perform to the highest ability on a daily basis, be guest focused and passionate about being part of something great and making a difference. Flexible schedule, able to work weekends.
