DCA Outdoor, Inc, is a national, vertically integrated green industry organization with a goal to streamline the production and distribution of landscape products. With locations throughout the Midwest and Oregon.

Rio Verde, located in Cornelius, Oregon, was acquired on September 1, 2018. Rio specializes in evergreen shrubs, trees, and specialty crops. It consists of 300 acres that include 160 acres of field-grown plants and 140 acres of container-grown plants.

Rio Verde, in Cornelius, Oregon is looking for a Product Specialist that is highly organized, attentive, and detail driven person. This position will engage with our customers, update information in our computer system, and relay information to internal and external customers. If you are someone who thrives on the accuracy of details, has strong verbal and written communication skills and up-holds exemplary customer service skills, with nursery or horticulture industry experience - we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Master-order management – Active brand customers have master orders booked on time and those orders are consistently reviewed and adjusted based upon the company’s best interests.
• Participate in inventory management and allocation of orders-Ensure accurate inventory and allocation of orders per brand customers request and necessary substitutions.
• Ensure orders are shipped successfully – Proactively know and understand our brand customer needs. Manage issues, to meet expectations.
• Be an expert resource for customers – Demonstrate expert knowledge of the nursery industry, plant material, and market conditions.
• Manage Key Accounts/Clients – Develop business relationships with Outside reps and Customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: 5 years in Nursery, Horticulture, or related field/industry
• Required: Experience in customer service and sales
