Horse Groom Job at Whimsy Brook Farm, Ltd
We are looking for full and part-time staff to provide horse care. Candidates should expect to fill out our application and do a working interview where we will assess your knowledge and ability regarding working around horses, feeding, cleaning stalls, grooming, tacking and un-tacking, tack cleaning, driving a tractor (we do not use wheel barrows) and any riding and/or training and teaching ability you may have. We do have an intern program, as well as a volunteer program and have been a training facility for veterinary assistants, vet techs, and veterinarians. The Farm cottage is currently available for the right party.
Whimsy Brook Farm, Ltd. is 50-year-old, fully modern, equine teaching and training facility designated by the State of Connecticut as a Horse Farm of Environmental Distinction. We sell organic compost and provide boarding, training, alternative equine rehab therapies, instruction in riding and horse science, and equine assisted psychotherapy. We are associated with an animal hospital.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
