Home Care Scheduler/Office Coordinator Job at Visiting Angels
Visiting Angels, an established homecare company in Santa Clarita, is seeking a Full time Scheduling/Office Coordinator to add to our office staff. The schedule is Monday – Friday 9am-6pm with a 1 hour lunch break. The primary duties include:
- Schedule caregiver staff for hours of service on new clients and open hours/shifts on existing cases, providing consistency in caregiver scheduling and ensuring clients are matched to appropriate caregivers
- Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry for schedules and client information.
- Answer the telephone and appropriately respond to calls from current and prospective clients and employees
- Weekly Review of schedules for payroll and billing accuracy
- Maintain office supplies
- Weekly mailing of payroll checks and printing and mailing client invoices
- Assist client with submission of Long Term Care Insurance documents
- Assist with accounts receivables, data entry
- Collect the mail and distribute
- Maintain office organization and files
- Filing
- ADP entry of new hires
- Assist director's as needed
Qualifications include:
- A heart for seniors and a passion to provide high quality senior care to the communities we serve.
- Homecare office or field experience highly preferred
- Desire and ability to work on a tight knit team of professionals while also working independently to ensure job tasks are completed
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
- A positive and enthusiastic personality which will encourage our entire team to excel
- Integrity and reliability
- High school diploma and 2 years of college is preferred
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) applications and technical affinity for scheduling systems and other health care industry related software.
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and in writing.
- Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines0
- Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
- Ability to generate goodwill for the company with staff, clients, their family members and referral sources. Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence.
- Must be able to lawfully work in the U.S. and pass a criminal record clearance by the Home Care Service Bureau
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
