We are looking for experienced nurses who are committed to providing high-quality care to our inmate population. As a Correctional Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and dynamic environment, and to make a positive impact on the lives of those who are incarcerated.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A current nursing license in South Carolina
• Must have a valid CPR
• Must have a valid 2 step TB
• Must have 2 forms of ID
• Must complete a drug Screen and Background
• At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting
• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of nursing duties, including:

• Conducting health screenings and assessments
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing triage as necessary
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Providing education to patients about their health conditions and self-care

Pay is weekly

LPNs is 28.00 an hour and overtime rate is 42.00

RNs is 34.00 an hour and overtime rate is 51.00
