MeetCaregivers is a healthcare agency associated with several nursing facilities throughout the state of Florida. Looking for compassionate and responsible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in a skilled nursing facility in Melbourne, FL. We are looking for FT / PT contract hires to work with our dedicated team at a high-quality nursing and rehabilitation facility. As a Meetcaregivers employee, you will also be considered and valued as part of the facility team!
Requirements
- LPN currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
- BLS/CPR card
Schedule: 8hr & 16hr shifts
Experience: 1+ years experience preferred
Pay rate: LPN $34.00 - $37.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
- Update patient records in a confidential manner
- Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
- Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
- Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
- Provide clinical/supervisory oversight to the assigned unit during shift
- Perform functions as delineated under the scope of practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
