The Buckingham Companies is a locally owned and operated company that has been in business for over 50 years. While we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a Full-Time Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.
This Heavy Duty Diesel Technician we are seeking must be able to work independently, work as a team, be on time, follow instructions and most importantly have a positive attitude, while also thinking outside of the box!

The Responsibilities of this Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic would be the following, but not limited to:
- Perform routine maintenance/oil changes on garbage and roll-off trucks a long as our skid steer equipment in our recycling center.
- Perform maintenance as needed on any of our trucks in our fleet.
- Be capable of performing large repairs on trucks that may break down throughout the day.
- Be knowledgeable in parts that are needed to fix any breakdowns for any truck in the companies fleet.
- A long with other items that may arise throughout the day.
The salary for the individual we are seeking will be determined based on experience. The Buckingham Companies will consider hiring a candidate that is looking to get in the field and need on the job training if it is a good fit for both the company and the individual seeking the job.
