Guardianship Administrative Support Specialist Job at Seminole Tribe of Florida

The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Guardianship Assistant Director, Guardianship Administrator, and Guardianship Program staff in a variety of administrative matters. The individual assists processing payments, tracking and monitoring the finances of all guardian appointed Tribal Member’s adults and minors (Clients) to ensure each Client’s account is balanced and within the approved budget. The incumbent assists with the completion of payments/deposits request, on behalf of the Client; prepares reports; performs data entry; coordinates travel logistics and provides administrative support to the Guardianship Staff, in order to maintain office(s) services uninterrupted. Work involves assignments that require some independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines.

High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate degree is preferred or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing an administrative support, bookkeeping, billing, or similar field is required. Demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Ability to work a flexible schedule and evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
