Grants Manager
Salary range-$40,000-$50,000 Annually Exempt
- Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization
- Research foundation and government grants and draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization, 50+ annually
- Submit proposals and reports to VP of Resource Development and Chief Operations Officer for approval
- Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals
- Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders
- Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities
- Maintain detailed calendar that includes due dates for all proposals and reports
- Communicate and track expected program outcomes and timelines as they relate to grant reporting
- Assist in managing program timeline, specifically assuring that grant and other funding requirements are met
- Participate in clubhouse, team leader and support services meetings. Work collaboratively with other staff to meet goals and objectives of the Organization
- Attend trainings and other developmental/professional growth opportunities as time and resources allow.
- Maintain proper records regarding reports, assessments and evaluations
- Participate in periodic assessment of own performance and develop own goals and objectives
- Implement any other administrative and program duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with courses in business, sociology, education, computer science preferred. Special consideration may be given for equivalent experience and personal qualifications in lieu of degree.
Minimum one-year work experience with youth or related field, including experience in grant or proposal writing or editing, preferred
Superior writing, editing, and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Suite formatting and template creation
Exception attention to detail
Experience working in a deadline driven environment
Skills in internet prospecting and research
Ability to take and give direction
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Skill in working with a variety of people. Ability to facilitate cooperative work.
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion issues.
Knowledge of youth development.
Pass pre-employment and random drug test.
Valid license with little or no violations.
First-aid & CPR Certification.
