Essential Job Functions
- Know how to operate a forklift and trash compactor
- Know how to handle hazardous materials
- Able to load and unload trucks
- Deliver and pick up parts at other plants
- Perform light kitting of parts, some cycle counting, and emptying trash containers
- Must be a great problem solver
- Communicate well with others
- Keep work areas organized and clean
- At least one year of forklift/material handler experience
- Able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands regularly
- Work inside in congested areas and outside in seasonal weather
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and bending frequently
- Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material
- Ability to be cross trained
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Seatbelt on forklift
