Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Global Logistics Business Systems Expert to join our team in Indianapolis Business Center or major Regional Supply Chain team locations.

The purpose of the Global Logistics Business Systems Expert is to implement and optimize the tools/systems used to enable the order fulfillment and logistics work processes. This role also trains regional SMEs and enables mastery across the network.

This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures data integrity by maintaining routine oversight of master data & configuration settings, using ERP Systems & Tools, including heritage and ERP technologies such as S/4, PD5, PC1
• Collaborates with regions to define standard settings for repetitive master data setup activities (e.g. material master Transportation & Loading Group) to support EDM processes.
• Supports system testing required for resolution of run-the-business tickets, technology updates or new projects.
• Makes changes to ERP master data & configuration settings. Including, but not limited to: Batch Search Strategies, and Output Condition Records.
• Consulting & Advice:
  • Collaborates with regional Logistics, ITO, Customer Service, and Planning to assist in resolution of system issues impacting operations.
  • Collaborates with Site Logistics to define ERP output settings (print, email, etc.), pick/pack/load time, cutoff time days, and delivery creation timing parameters; maintains ECC tables directly and/or facilitates submission of IT requests.
  • Provides expertise to regional ITO Specialists to define optimal system settings, including but not limited to: transportation chaining configurations, and transportation lead-time/arrange time, deliver to destination port times.
  • Collaborates with 3rd party warehouses and/or contract mfg sites to select most effective connectivity solutions (e.g. edi, direct connect) – facilitates submission of requests to IT, and follow up/monitoring through to implementation.
• E-Business Support/Troubleshooting: interaction with IT and users as level 2 support for issues with material flow EDI messages, including, but not limited to warehouse and border crossing document messages.
• Submits IT requests for changes to ERP tables and/or configuration (e.g. delivery creation batch jobs, shipping point pick/pack/load time), where business cannot maintain directly.
• Provides training documentation and technical support on tools (the how)
• Delivers training to Regional SMEs and Users as appropriate
• Analyze KPI's
• Partners with Business Process Owner and other Business System Expert to identify and lead global technology improvement projects

Qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's college degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related field.
• Candidates for this position should have five or more years of supply chain, logistics, order fulfillment and/or international trade experience.
• Proven experience in managing a variety of improvement related projects.
• ERP experience in SAP, PD5 or S/4

Other preferred qualifications include:

• EDI XML experience a plus
• A minimum of 10% travel may be required at specific phases of projects (some international travel may also be necessary).
• Flexible schedule required, as it is a global role with interactions across time zones.

Other: Relocation is not supported for this role. Locations in other regions are open for consideration but must be located at a Crop Protection Supply Chain business center.
