Global Client Finance Associate Director Job at dentsu
The Global Client Finance Associate Director is responsible for the overall financial management of our clients, their commercial agreement, reporting and general day-to-day activities. The Associate Director supports the Global Client Finance team and the finance leads for all financial deliverables to clients, including reporting, reconciliations and staff plan reviews. The Associate Director works closely with the various team leads across the organization and the sister agency finance teams to ensure financial elements of the client relationship are communicated, tracked, monitored and managed. The Associate Director role is a client facing and is responsible for managing the majority of client reporting and related processes.
Finance
- Responsible for managing all client reporting deliverables
- Working in collaboration with the Analyst and/or Global Client Reporting team on producing some of the reports (including AVBs, Unbilled Media, A/R Aging, Utilization, and Cash Flow)
- Support the Director with preparation of annual scope negotiation analysis and executive presentations, including the management of client staffing plans
- Work closely with the Markets and sister agencies in the U.S. to ensure their billing processes align to the client agreement
- Prepare and provide reporting on staff utilization
- Understanding of Market regulations and working on a global client
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
- Assist Directors of Finance and Global Client Finance team with special projects
- Provide proactive analytical support and other ad hoc financial analyses to the business leaders
- Tracking and reviewing Global Client Profitability
- Track and review major revenue forecasts (Budget and RFs)
- Serve as a main contact for the Dentsu Aegis Network UK Global Team for the Americas
- Responsible for improving processes on reporting and building a “Center of Excellence” on select initiatives
Client & Internal Relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with agency personnel related to financial processes and deliverables
- Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to client teams related to client and job profitability
- Work with client teams to ensure revenue tracking systems are up to date
- Work closely with the client teams to stay abreast of changes and modifications to client budgets
- Is approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems/issues by staff and team
- Breaks down problems and issues into critical parts which can be resolved
- Express oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications
- Write in a clear, compelling and concise manner
- Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7-12 years experience in a finance or finance related role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
- Superior organization abilities, strong attention of detail, and advanced project management/customer service skills
- This position is responsible for handling highly confidential information, requiring an ability to maintain and display high ethical standards including confidentiality, discretion, and exemplary judgment with respect to such information.
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
