The General Manager leads and contributes to the success of Gong cha through the direction and control of restaurant operations and talent management to ensure a positive guest and team member experience and company profitability. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and train staff, foster a positive team member and guest service culture, attaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining the highest standards of service, food quality, cleanliness, overall safety, and sanitation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Gong cha store operations
• Responsible for ordering food, beverage, paper, and other business-related products
• Achieving sales objectives for each store
• Conduct inventory and calculate food and beverage costs to analyze variances or discrepancies.
• Adhering to a budget
• Ensures positive guest experience by monitoring and ensuring service and delivery of the Gong cha touch.
• Setting performance expectations, goals, and objectives
• Maintain the highest standards of guest service, food quality and safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Responsible for submitting accurate information to the Multi Unit Manager.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) years experience in Beverage Service, or a similar quick-service restaurant environment
• Minimum three (3) years experience in Management
• ServSafe certified (required, or willing to obtain quickly upon hiring)
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
• Must be able to carry loads greater than 25 pounds and be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Ability to travel to other locations
