Our ideal candidate will have exceptional proven leadership qualities along with the ability to direct and strategize our operational team in an ecommerce operation from inventory evaluation through fulfillment. Our ideal candidate has a demonstrated background leading a management/ supervisory team to ensure solid productivity and performance objectives are defined, met, and exceeded.

Role and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

· Manage approximately 100 warehouse personnel and supervisory/management staff in a multi-shift operation

· Create & maintain a positive work environment, lead by example

· Work with supervisory/management team to attain quotas & maintain efficient productivity

· Make recommendations to senior executive on efficiency improvements, communicate clear & concise current state of production/distribution environment

· Maintain current, and develop & implement policies & strategies to improve production/distribution efficiencies

· Promote a safe working environment through complying with safety standards, OSHA rules & regulations, as well as federal & state laws

· Support shift manager with performance evaluations & performance improvement plans

· Conduct daily leadership meetings

· Conduct weekly leadership training with warehouse managers, supervisors, & leads

· Work with shift managers to coordinate PTO/sick days to ensure adequate supervision & support for warehouse staff

· Work with peers and subordinates to create a consistent, seamless, and continuous operational process across all shifts

· Manage employee relations by way of coaching, counseling, and conducting regular performance evaluations

· Mentor subordinates for future advancement opportunities

Qualifications Education Requirements:
· 10+ years of production and/or distribution management experience, preferably in a fast-paced automated warehouse environment

· Experience in Lean manufacturing principles & applications

· Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Strong communication skills, verbal and written

· Excellent attendance & punctuality are required; Ability to work “off-shift” as needed

· Ability to learn new concepts, communicate easily, and teach in a hands-on capacity

· Has previous experience with automation equipment

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Safety oriented

· Ability to travel as needed (25%)

· Six Sigma, ISO, and prior union experience preferred

· Salary is commensurate with years of applicable management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $123,000.00 per year
