MTS is seeking a qualified General Maintenance Technician for our terminalin Grand Prairie, TX. The Technician will need basic understanding of construction techniques, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, industrial equipment. The Technician will be tasked with troubleshooting existing equipment as well as installing new.MTSoffers acompetitive wage andbenefits package with an excellent working environment.
Maintenance Technician Essential Functions:
- Must have the ability to diagnose and repair miscellaneous electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry issues as well as installing new.
- Effectively and safely operate standard maintenance tools including power tools, hand tools and testing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance from daily up to semi-annually.
- Complete troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without direct supervision.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow safety rules and regulations as well as other departmental policies and procedures. Help further develop and improve proper safety techniques.
- Detect, document, report and repair improper machine operation and faulty facility equipment.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, associates degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 year ofexperience in either the maintenance or construction field
- Must have reliable transportation

- Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
