General Horse Caretaker with Farm Maintenance Job at Waltz Awhile Saddlebreds
Private Farm/Horse Sanctuary in Ocala, FL 34482 looking for General Horse Caretaker with Farm Maintenance. Candidate must have experience in horse care as well as farm experience. This is a full time position and weekends are required.
*Feed horse hay and/or grain per specifications.
*Farm Maintenance to include but not limited to: day to day farm chores as needed
*Clean and refill water buckets morning and night.
*Move horses between stalls and paddocks/pasture per specifications.
*Full grooming of show horses and general grooming for non-show rescue horses.
*Repair and cleaning as needed of fences, pastures, horse stalls, and barn.
*Report any horse injuries or horse health concerns to the owner
*General Farm maintenance and upkeep.

Pay: From $600.00 per week

- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ocala, FL 34482: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Farming/Farm Hand: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hands on Horse Care: 1 year (Required)
