The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a turnaround position in the Corpus Christi, Texas area:
GENERAL FOREMAN
Successful candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years current experience managing a medium to large industrial maintenance job site and extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance activities, standards and practices. The Site Manager will be expected to consistently maintain the distinguished record of safety performance at the site. The successful candidate must have the ability to plan, organize, coordinate and execute small capital projects, daily maintenance activities and medium to large turnarounds and schedules, as well as handle daily interaction with client management. Unquestioned integrity coupled with a demonstrated dedication to The Mundy Companies values and vision is mandatory for this position. Successful candidate will have superior leadership qualities as well as management ability and must possess good human relations skills. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient computer skills, including maintenance related software, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Applicants must possess the basic knowledge of the crafts and maintenance skills to ensure adequate supervision of site employees as well as adequate knowledge of finance as it pertains to budgets and project cost management.
The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This positions requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and other qualifications as required.
