Job Overview
The purpose of this role is to provide vehicle technical support for all clients via the telephone while utilizing our software equipment and guide customers through repairs and procedures. This is an on-site position that will provide diagnostic support to various customers across several different outside locations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide information and advice on vehicle diagnostics and technical solutions to customer via telephone and supported equipment
- Document all customer interactions in OPUS IVS database
- Work within groups of technicians and software development teams to improve products and services
- Maximize first time resolution of customer queries
- Provide training support and basic technical support to customers and employees as required
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as an automobile technician, using diagnostic scanning tools, or equivalent experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 required
- Superior customer service skills required
- Strong problem-solving capabilities required
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers required
- Ability to multi-task required
Preferred Qualifications
- OE/Dealer level diagnostic and programming experience
- Familiarity with pre/post scanning of automobiles; OEM Scan tool experience is preferred
- ASE certification(s) is a plus (ASE Certification(s), I-Car, MECP and ALLDATA)
- Collision automotive experience or Automotive Repair experience/education preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish or Spanish speaking ability a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to hear on a telephone and at times with others speaking
- Work is in a temperature-controlled office

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
