WomenSafe is currently seeking a full-time Resident Care Specialist to assist survivors of Domestic Violence.
Resident Care Specialist Duties:
- Assisting survivors and families of domestic violence
- Providing Domestic Violence Prevention Education and Safety Planning
- Training in Trauma-Informed Care and Mental Health
- Crisis Response, Managing Crisis Calls
- Providing education on healthy relationships and boundaries
- Assisting with providing emergency shelter services
- Documentation of services provided
- Provide Transportation for clients with an agency vehicle
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact positively and effectively with children at various ages in an appropriate manner
- Minimum High School Diploma. Background in human services or child development preferred
- Complete Background Check
- State of Ohio Vehicle Operators License and ability to be covered by the agency’s motor vehicle insurance carrier
Current hours: Tuesday- Saturday (11P-7A)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
