Chef/Owner David Kinch is looking for Prep Cooks and Line Cooks to join his newest restaurant – Mentone.
Full Time Line Cook, + weekend and am prep, Wednesday through Sunday.
We're looking for ambitious and experienced prep cooks to join our growing team and assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You'll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
We're looking for a minimum of one year of experience in a fast paced kitchen environment.

Qualified individuals should possess a strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness. In addition to technical skills, the individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be a strong team collaborator.
Candidates are preferred to have availability to work Wednesday through Sundays.
With a culinary program led by Chef de Cuisine Matt Bowden (Executive Sous Chef at Manresa), Mentone takes inspiration of the French/Italian Riviera and brings it to the California’s Coast line with a Kinch touch. Located in Aptos, California - the restaurant will feature a Mugnaini wood-fired pizza oven, full bar, on-site milled flour, and the fresh ingredients from small local farmers. Menu highlights will also include handmade pasta, pizza, cioppino, focaccia, and custom salames.
