Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant Job at Melrose Recovery

We are looking for a self-driven and ambitious Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting duties. The Full-Charge Bookkeeper must work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure all transactions are properly allocated. Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting systems (QuickBooks), excellent excel skills and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, this position efficiently handles all the accounting needs of the company, streamlining the business. You will support the Accounting team through a variety of tasks related to the organization .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for full cycle accounting duties

Accounts payables and receivables

Verifying and posting transactions

Credit card transactions and recordkeeping

Reconciliation

Month-end

Process annual 1099 form

General journal entries

Ensure accuracy in general ledger

Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly tax returns

Carry out clerical duties such as filing, copying, printing, scanning and emailing

AP/AR

Special projects, as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication
  • QuickBooks online and full charge bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical problem solver
  • Proven admin or assistant experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Highly Proficiency in MS Office specifically Excel
  • Ability to follow proper channels of policies & procedures, communication & work standards
  • Skill in maintaining a harmonious work atmosphere, practicing excellent customer service
  • Skill in speaking clearly and using proper grammar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
