Essential Job Functions. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for dispensing and delivering fountain/soda/alcohol orders (at Johnny Rockets they will also make milk-shakes) for customers as well as taking requests/orders from team members for our guests.
• Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots. Responsible for maintaining dish room and dish machine. Change beverage syrups.
• Maintains all areas of kitchen for a safe, clean environment based on Health Dept. & internal standards.
• Be on time all the time. Attendance is required. Follow all CALL IN procedures if you will be absent.
• Monitor the content and timeliness of orders to be sure that they are delivered efficiently and accurately.
• Actively involved in the completion of all daily tasks and duties, including changing beverage syrups and maintaining product levels.
• Maintains all fountain and drink areas for a safe clean environment based on Health Department and internal standards.
• For Johnny Rockets stores - participate in mandatory and periodic team member dancing for our guests.
• Monitors, maintains and controls all fountain inventory and supplies, as well as proper use of associated serving containers and small-wares.
• Assess and actively address all fountain spills, safety hazards and takes appropriate action.
• Cleanliness and sanitation of the fountain/dispensing areas including all food storage areas and coolers.
• Ensures all product is received without damage, fresh and with high quality.
• Must have English comprehension skills for purposes of safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service.
• Must be Serve-Safe certified.

Physical Demands and Work Environment include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, touch, climb, lift, and read (see) for extended periods of time (8 hours+).
• Must be able to lift and carry loads of 35 pounds or more, and able to transport them to equipment, etc.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes limited movement environment.
• Must be able to maintain sanitation, food safety, and other food service environment requirements.

Introductory Period

From date of hire, there is a one hundred eighty-day (180) introductory period for all new hires. Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs. During these 180 days, Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group will evaluate your performance to determine any areas of improvements, additional training or if employment dismissal is necessary.
