As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Working with Programmers and Designers to create new mobile and desktop web applications
- Assisting team on transitioning to a new JavaScript Framework
- Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining responsive applications
- Taking on in-house development tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Working in a team together with Developers, Analysts and end users
- Supporting end users by working on support requests and troubleshooting application issues
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or experience relevant to the position- 1+ years programming experience in front-end web development

Expert knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript testing (Cypress)
- Strong capabilities in client-side JaveScript frameworks (React)
- Understanding how to make web components reusable and testable
- Strong understanding of software development life-cycles
- Comfortable working with the Microsoft .Net environment
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Solid understanding of web best practices and standards and fully embraced Web Standards
- Experience in performance optimization techniques to sped up loading times
- Strong command and cross-browser development techniques and browser degradation strategies
- Ability to develop efficient, maintainable code under the standards set forth by the Information Technology team
- Proficiency in technical and process problem-solving, as well as root analysis
- Demonstrated ability to follow technical design and understand basic workflows of software development life-cycle
- Familiarity using Rest APIs
- Experience building applications using React Native or Ionic
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role is $75000 - $85000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries California based on the date of this job posting.
