Front desk/Medical Biller Job at A First Choice Staffing Service
Excellent opportunity - No experience required.
We are looking for an individual for an entry-level or experienced candidate. This office is willing to train a front desk receptionist and medical billing to add to their team.
Must have excellent customer service, a professional, friendly, and compassionate person to work with our office and patients. Looking for a quick learner, can work at a fast pace, handle multiple tasks with constant interruptions, checking in/out patients, adjust quickly to new things, strong computer and phone skills, must be dedicated and detailed, self motivated, and make patient care a priority.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and answering any inquiries.
- Scheduling appointments and keep those appointments on time.
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
- Keeping a clean and calm reception area.
- Processing billing and payments, using medical software
- Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
- Comforting distressed patients – this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise, through to being the voice of comfort during times of extreme stress and emergency.
- Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
Schedule for Medford and Grants Pass:
Monday- Grants Pass office and start between 7:00-10:30am and off work between 4:30-7pm depending upon start time.
Tuesday- Medford office and start between 7:20-10:30am and off work between 4:30-7pm depending upon start time.
Wednesday- Grants Pass office and start between 7:00-10:30am and off work between 4:30-7pm depending upon start.
Thursday- Potential half day in Grants Pass or Medford starting 1-2pm then off 5pm-7 ish/ or full day off
Friday- Medford office and start is between 7:10-10:30am until 5-7pm.
Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
As of Oct. 18, 2021, Oregon is requiring all healthcare employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, with limited exceptions. Vaccinations are required as this is an essential part of the role.
