Lexington Plastic Surgeons Oxon Hill, MD 20745
We are a nationally recognized growing cosmetic surgery company with locations across the country. We are looking for a skilled and organized Front Desk Coordinator/Certified Medical Assistant to join a growing Team in our Oxon Hill office. You will perform a combination of various administrative and clinical tasks.
SCHEDULE:
Monday & Friday 8:15 am -5:30pm
Tues & Wed 9:30 am- 6:00pm
Thursday 9:30 am -7:00pm
Responsibilities include;
- Appropriately obtain and record patient’s vitals.
- Obtaining patient histories.
- Handle blood draws
- Maintain order, readiness and cleanliness of all exam rooms.
- Maintaining inventory of all medical equipment and stock supplies as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information
- Front office duties; checking in patients, verifying and scanning intake forms, confirming appointments, administrative support to office manager and team
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current medical assistant certification
- At least 1 years of clinical experience in an outpatient/ambulatory setting.
- Knowledge of medical procedures, which relates to patient education and health practice
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Must be flexible and a Team Player
- Must be reliable
Job Type: Full-time
