Freight Room Manager Job at Meyer Ace Hardware
Meyer Ace Hardware is a fourth-generation owned retail hardware business that prides itself in servicing our customers and the community in which we live. We are looking to hire a Freight Room Manager for our Harbor Springs location.
Responsibilities:
A qualified candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to doing the following on a day-to-day basis:
- Receiving bi-weekly freight shipments from Ace
- Checking in, pricing, and sorting Ace product
- Managing cleanliness of backroom
- Continually work back stocked freight onto sales floor
- Assembling display products and display racks
- Cross referencing drop ship product against packing lists and purchase orders
- Performing customer assistance when called upon
Requirements:
- Positive, upbeat attitude
- Ability to work 40 hours/week including weekends
- Ability to identify problem areas and correct
- Must be well organized
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds
