RISE Services Inc. is a non-profit organization that is powered by relationships, connection, and community. Our mission is Creating Opportunities for and with People -- not just for our clients, but our staff, and communities as well. Throughout the state of Utah, there are many people with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities who are in need of safe and loving homes. RISE Services is actively recruiting, training, and supporting professional parents and in-home caregivers, to provide homes for these individuals.

As a Professional Parent, your goal is to develop meaningful relationships with those placed in your home, while creating a safe and loving environment where they can thrive. Your success will allow the youth placed in your home to develop their confidence and independence, and ensure their physical and emotional safety.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the health and safety of clients in your care.
• Document weekly progress reports, and incident reports as applicable
• Remain calm in times of stress or excitement.
• Encourage interaction and independence.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming as needed.

RISE is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a variety of service models. Our Professional Parent/Host Homes model may be your answer for fresh direction, assistance in balancing your budget, and most importantly a way for you to provide a safe and loving home for a child or adult with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older.
• You must be a resident of the state of Utah.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must have an extra empty bedroom for the individual to have their own space.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
