Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Material Handling: Move and stage material as required to provide assistance to onsite Warehouse Pickers.
- Safety: Responsible for all safety aspects regarding forklift/heavy equipment. Daily checks but be completed. Conducts daily inspection of equipment used.
- Unloading freight from inbound deliveries to place in correct areas of warehouse.
- Loading pallets of product on outbound trucks for delivery to our customers.
- Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to get on and off of a forklift throughout the work day.
- Competent in basic math skills.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Must communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 1 year of previous forklift operator experience preferred.
Pay/Benefits:
- Full time, regular position beginning at $17.50/hour pay rate with potential to earn $19.75/hour
