Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Job at General Plumbing Supply
General Plumbing Supply is NJ's largest independent wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial products. With 20 locations and 13 showrooms showcasing decorative kitchen and bath products, GPS is a growing company with an active environment for employees and customers.
We are looking for an experienced forklift operator for our new distribution center in Piscataway, NJ to work on our 2nd shift. The hours are 2pm-10:30pm, M-F with the ability to work Saturdays as well.
What You’ll Do:
- Unload and load trailers and trucks
- Move material within and outside our central distribution center
- Utilize RF scanning system
- Maintain the quality and accuracy of inventory data
- Standard shift hours will be 2am-10:30pm, M-F, with the ability to work Saturdays
Required for Success:
- Forklift Certification
- 5+ years of experience utilizing forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and construction supplies is a plus
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds daily and heavier items occasionally
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
