The Foreman directs team members in the processing of products on assigned line. This position also works with the team regarding safety, environmental control, quality, production and inventory.

What your day may look like

• Sets up equipment.
• Organizes assignments for workers.
• Trains and leads the team on processes.
• Completes pertinent production reports, logs, etc. on a timely basis.
• Operates formulation and/or packaging equipment, forklifts, hoists and/or other material handling equipment when necessary.
• Assists in equipment clean-out and packaging equipment movement.
• Identifies and packages all waste.
• Monitors the adherence to all plant safety rules and regulations in assigned area.
• Maintains working knowledge of all aspects of the operation including raw materials, packaging materials, contract specifications, waste handling and safety procedures for all products handled in assigned area.
• Maintains a clean work environment both inside and outside the facility by using good housekeeping habits.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by your leader.
• Reliable and regular attendance is required.

Education and experience needed for this position

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience in manufacturing environment is required.
• Leadership experience is preferred.

This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
