The Food Services Supervisor is responsible for oversight and supervision of the food services program, and kitchen operations at all Head Start centers. The Food Services Supervisor manages and provides a nutritious, cost effective food service program accountable to funding sources and applicable licensing agencies, and Head Start Performance Standards. Responsibilities include ensuring that the preparation of meals, the delivery of meals to the classroom, the receiving of food and non-food supplies, and the cleanliness of the kitchen and the food storage areas are in accordance with the federal, state, and local health regulations, and licensing codes.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

1. High School Diploma or GED

2. Two years' experience as a cook in charge of kitchen including one-year experience as an institutional cook involving food preparation/service for groups of 100 or more.

3. Food Services Food & Safety Handling permit is required before hire or within 30 days of hire and renewing every 3 years.

Salary - This is an Exempt position $38,095 - $54,756 annual depending on qualifications (related experience, education, training, etc.)

This is a 10 month position.
