Responsibilities

The focus of this position and its duties include the physical inspection of the bakery facility and its operations, as well as maintaining documentation to support the company’s quality and food safety programs. This position requires coordinating with other departments in the business in preparations for audits and inspections including SQF, RSPO, OSHA, FDA, and customer audits. The Food Safety Administrator will provide food safety training to plant team members and monitor their practices for compliance. This position also serves as a backup for the Shipper/Receiver in their absence, which involves loading and unloading trucks.

· Spanish or bi-lingual is a plus.

Preferred experience

· Bachelors degree in the sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Experience in food quality systems including PSQI, HACCP, and SQF

· Ability to objectively coach Team Members through complex, difficult QA requirements

· Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with vendors and colleagues.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Exceptional writing skills. Must be able to write/create procedures.

· Must be highly organized.

· Must have computer skills in Microsoft applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
