The role of the Food runner

The Rutledge is looking for an experienced individual that can bring The Rutledge standard and brand to life through memorable dining experiences for all guests. Hosts will primarily be tasked with:

· Greeting and welcoming guests

· Managing guest flow throughout the restaurant

· Managing seating, wait lists and table turns

· Sanitizing and setting tables

· Taking reservations

· Creating memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A qualified applicant will be proficient in hosting and providing wonderful service to guests. We are looking for motivated, team players that are excited to share their expertise and skills to create a unique experience for all guests.

About The Rutledge

With a sophisticated, upbeat vibe, The Rutledge brings modern approach to classic favorites. The Rutledge opened its first location in Franklin, TN in early 2019. Its modern approach to classic favorites and sophisticated, upbeat vibe, quickly became a local staple. For its second iteration, The Rutledge will occupy 16,000 square-feet of space at Four Seasons Nashville on the hotel's ground floor in downtown Nashville, across from Ascend Amphitheatre overlooking the Cumberland River.

On the menu, guests will find variety of fresh seafood, salads, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as a premium selection of steaks including filet mignon, ribeye, and roasted prime rib. The Rutledge also offers an impressive wine selection including Chappellet, Caymus, Stag’s’ Leap and Silver Oak, both by the bottle and the glass. The Rutledge’s signature cocktail list includes classic favorites as well as specially crafted seasonal cocktails.

Fine art is central to The Rutledge experience. The Rutledge is proud to feature exceptional, unique and original pieces by the finest creators of contemporary art such as Terry O’Neill, RETNA and Alec Monopoly. The collection is curated to provide guests with a visual experience that matches their dining experience. Curated from artists and galleries around the world, The Rutledge is home to numerous one-of-a-kind pieces that rotate throughout the restaurant to provide a fresh and exciting visual experience for returning guests.

The Rutledge is open for lunch and dinner every day and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Walk-in guests are always welcome as well as reservations for parties of all sizes on our website.

Compensation

$12.50-$15 an hour based on experience plus tips
