Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-12am, 10pm-6:30am

Food QC Position Description:
-Conduct and document food quality control inspections and controls in a USDA facility
-Conduct and document employee inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices
-Review quality control records and take necessary action as needed
-Collect food samples for laboratory and sensory testing
-Oversee food temperatures and perform periodic temperature checks
-Verify food labels are correct
Food QC Qualifications Summary:
-Experience in the food production / food manufacturing industry preferred or food handling experience in restaurant / commercial kitchen required
-Willing to train a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Food Technology
-Exposure to USDA food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards a plus
-HACCP certification and/or ServSafe Training an asset
-Excellent attention to detail
-Willing to train!
