We are a beautiful authentic Japanese Sushi Restaurant featuring Hibachi - Teppanyaki dining experience in Pocatello, ID seeking a Front of the House Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. We pride ourselves on delivering quality to our customers in the form of high-end food, atmosphere, and service.

What we are seeking:
- 2 years of proven work experience as a Front of House Restaurant Manager, Supervisor or Assistant Manager, or similar role.
- Previous Sushi FOH management experience a plus!
- Proven customer service experience as a Manager
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle complaints, and ensure a good dining experience.
- Ability to work 55 hours a week including weekends.
- Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities:
The FOH Manager position is responsible for guest engagement and leading our staff to ensure flawless operations from our dining rooms to our kitchens. We are looking for individuals with the desire to lead, teach and inspire their staff to be the best they can be for our guests and each other. We want someone with high standards and the eagerness to learn as well.
- FOH supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the restaurant during each shift, ensuring staff complies with company policy.
- This position is responsible for motivating and training our staff to ensure excellent guest service and maintaining our standards of operation
- Work with the back of the management to ensure food quality standards are upheld
- Ensure guest satisfaction through promoting excellent service
- Responds to guest complaints professionally and courteously
- Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards
- Ensure that the company s standards are upheld
- Make sure that the restaurant is properly cleaned on a regular schedule
- Ensure food is disposed of appropriately
- Look for ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs
- Recruiting, Interviewing, and Scheduling employees
- Payroll
- Food, paper goods, linen supplies ordering.
- Ensuring all end-of-day cashouts are correctly completed and consolidated.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
