The fleet coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a company’s fleet of vehicles. They ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, schedule regular maintenance appointments, and may even help to coordinate emergency repairs if any of the vehicles in their fleet encounter problems on the road. Fleet coordinators work closely with some of the members of the company management team to develop strategies for improving efficiency or reducing costs. You will also develop new policies or procedures related to vehicle usage within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fleet role preferred
  • Time-management and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Must hold a Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs in our vehicle tracking solutions
  • Work with external vendors, including mechanics to help make decision on repairs
  • Maintains inventory
  • Maintain a database of truck and driver information
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and up to date vehicle information
  • Measures performance indicators for reporting and records key metrics
