A rapidly growing business administrative support services firm that primarily assists international companies start and grow their business operations in the US, is seeking a creative and dynamic CFO/Financial Team Lead to join its team!

This is a hybrid office/remote position.

Position Overview:

The CFO/Financial Team Lead provides both in-house services as well as services to our rapidly growing client base. The CFO works closely with and provides guidance to the company’s financial services team.

Responsibilities:

  • All things accounting for all our entities and operations and our clients’ entities and operations;
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of financials for review;
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable;
  • Be a technical accounting lead for financial administrative services team;
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures for financial administrative services team;
  • Review planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
  • Analyze operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
  • Works with the President and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process;
  • Audit financial records for errors, misinformation and potential fraud;
  • Meet with clients via phone, videoconferencing, or in-person to discuss their needs and concerns;
  • Assist with audit projects for (new) clients;
  • Maintain administration of liabilities to related entities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Business or other related field and relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in accounting
  • Experience with Sales Tax is a plus
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to manage a team of employees both remotely and in-person
  • Can work independently on projects and meet demanding deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
  • Strong time management skills/adherence to deadlines

Preferred skills:

  • QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor
  • Experience with SAP and/or NetSuite preferred
  • Experience with transfer pricing preferred
  • Experience working with US entities with foreign ownership preferred
  • Bilingual preferred (preferences include Spanish, Dutch, German and/or French)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
