Northwestern Mutual Financial Representatives' income is based solely on production.
Compensation:$60,000 - $200,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Create customized financial plans for each client based on their evolving financial needs
- Provide continued excellent service by cultivating long-term relationships with clients and remain in mind should clients have new financial needs
- Stay abreast of any changes in the financial industry that may impact the clients in your portfolio
- Expand our prospective customer base and market our financial products through referrals
- Work directly with clients to compile financial profiles that allow you to provide sound financial advice and strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations
- Proactively build a clientele base through referrals, networking and targeted outreach
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or similarly related field is recommended but not required
- Should have the ability to market yourself and network with potential clients
- Openness to learning about the financial industry and our various products and offerings
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and integrity with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- 4-year degree; or equivalent professional work experience
- Entrepreneurial ambitions
- History of success in sales, athletics, military, client services, or client-facing roles
- Excellent time-management skills
- Desire for continuous learning
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
