Position Title: IT Field Technician

Duration: April 27, 2022 – May 31, 2022*

Compensation: $21/hr.

• Eastside South Campus – 2160 Fountain Dr., Snellville, GA 30078

• Cartersville Medical Center – 960 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy SE, Cartersville, GA 30120

Brooksource is currently seeking skilled IT Field Technician’s to prep our healthcare client’s technical environment for an Epic EMR Software implementation.

As a TDR Field Technician, you will be responsible for working on-site with your field support team to upgrade our clients’ IT Infrastructure in preparation for their Epic system Go-Live.

Position Description:

• Testing Workstations, Peripherals and Epic test cases applicable to the device per the Test Script

• Test cases include, but not limited to:

• Verify PCs are named and labelled correctly

• Network Access by logon to the device

• Verify Tap & Go login where applicable

• Very Windows Printing from the PC

• Verify PCs are Epic Configured

• Verify Epic Login

• Execute Epic test cases pertaining to the device

• Verify Epic Printing and Print Mapping to the right printer

• Verify Credit Card Device are functional

• Execute Downtime (BCA) Devices test cases where applicable

• Dragon Mike Testing – if present, does it work in Epic

• E-Signature Testing – if present, does it work in Epic

• Scanning Testing – if present, does it work in Epic

• MidMark Device Testing – if present, does it work in Epic

• Documenting Test Case results within Epic

• Providing detailed information on each failed workstation or device

• Working with Technicians on-site and the leads on planned TDRs

Position Requirements:

• 1-3 years of work experience in TDR/ relevant experience required.

• Epic experience required.

• Prior testing experience.

• Must be able to travel to client sites within Georgia.

• Ability to self-manage and proactively address tasks at hand.

Schedule:

• The week of April 26th will be mainly orientation with limited hours.*

• Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday from 9am – 5pm
