Waypoint Analytical is among the top 50 environmental labs in the United States and is arguably the largest agricultural laboratory group. Headquartered in Memphis, TN and with 14 full-service agriculture and environmental laboratories throughout the U.S

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for collecting and delivering samples between customers and the laboratory. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with several of our customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include:

· Loading and unloading products/goods efficiently and carefully and deliver to clients in a timely manner

· Collecting environmental samples and recording field measurements

· Inspecting company vehicle, including checking tire pressure, fluid, fuel, and reporting any issues immediately prior to leaving on route

· Communicating with dispatch team and contacting customers as necessary ahead of arrival

· Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner

· Reading route sheets thoroughly, and planning trips with efficiency in mind

· Obeying rules of the road and company regulations at all times

Some of the additional traits our candidate would need to possess include:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Experience in environmental or agricultural industries a plus

· Ability to lift heavy objects (approximately 50 pounds)

· Ability to work independently outdoors in all types of weather conditions

· Exceptional time management, customer service, and communication skills required

· Ability to work within an interactive team environment
