United Aluminum Corporation, a specialty rolling mill in North Haven, CT, with unique rolling, annealing, and slitting capabilities, has produced Custom Rolled® Aluminum Coil since 1915. United Aluminum’s modern and clean facility is conveniently located off I-91 or the Merritt Parkway in North Haven, CT. We have an exceptional opportunity to lead a skilled team of electricians and mechanics to schedule, maintain, and install our heavy manufacturing machinery and equipment. This is a great opportunity to join our Senior Management Team and have broad decision-making responsibility in this privately owned facility where we have been rolling aluminum coils for over 100 years.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have industrial experience leading our highly skilled maintenance department of licensed electricians and industrial mechanics. Successful candidate will be involved in the installation and implementation of electrical and mechanical solutions for heavy manufacturing equipment, utilizing hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment utilizing 480vac, VFD, and PLCs as well as have responsibility for all Facility Maintenance and Environmental Permitting/Reporting for the site.

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering strongly preferred, but not required
• Rolling mill / slitting experience a plus, but not required
• 3-5 years Managerial/Supervisory experience of Industrial Mechanics/Electricians required.
• Interest in challenge and opportunity
