Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Feed Management Specialist to join our Digital Sales and Experience team. This position's primary responsibilities will be dedicated to partnering with the marketing, CRM, digital and marketplace teams on building and distributing product information needed to list, advertise and sell our products through comparison shopping engines and marketplaces like Amazon, Google Shopping, Facebook, Walmart and others. Additional responsibilities include vendor management, submitting purchase orders, creating and escalating cases for various issues as needed.
The ideal candidate should come from a retail or marketing background and have hands-on experience managing product and listing information for multiple SKUs across multiple marketplace accounts (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc.) and experience with third party catalog enablement to facilitate direct to consumer dropshipping.

What responsibilities does this position have?
- Follow best practices to build product feeds, including transforming, modifying, sorting and filtering mass quantities of product data into optimized product listings
- Ensure inventory is being imported/exported as frequently as each platform can provide
- Set up exports to various marketplaces and platforms
- Review feeds before sending to QA and implement feedback
- Troubleshoot imports/exports and resolve outstanding errors
- Document work and update open requests appropriately
- Collaborate with each involved team to ensure we have relevant data
- Prioritize tasks, including managing ticketing system queue, emails, and other responsibilities
- Meet deadlines as set by direct managers and team leads
- Use resources appropriately, adhering to policy and best practices
Position Essential Functions
Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Web-based project management platforms such as Jira/Trello
- Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly in technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work
- Excellent technical skills including XML, JSON, SQL and HTML
- Ability to manage multiple relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
- Ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Requirements
We are looking for a self-motivated, open-minded team member who has a strong background in (and passion for) feed management. Ideally this person would encompass most (if not all) of these points:
- 1-2 years’ experience with marketplace seller account management (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc.)
- 1-2 years’ experience with Feed Management platforms like Feedonomics, ChannelAdvisor, CommerceHub, etc.
- Create support tickets and ensure open tickets are up to date
- Schedule project meetings and follow up on action items
- Create data feed templates for digital projects and requests
- Manage vendor relationships
- Business process & requirements gathering
- Understands marketing activation needs and how data will support digital transformation
- Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, XML, JSON
- Query writing for data transformations or correction of broken image/product URLs
- Experience working with big data and file systems (FTP, WinSCP, Filezilla etc.)
- Knowledge of web service calls (REST/SOAP API)
- Highly organized, professional individual that works quickly under pressure
- Ability to multitask and handle several projects simultaneously, under deadline
- Cross-functional project management skills, self starter that can hit the ground running, shows initiative, but isn't afraid to ask for direction and work with the team
- Exceptional communication skills
- Positive, collaborative attitude
- Paid media or paid social experience a plus
