As a Facilities Maintenance Manager your average day will Include:
- Responsible for maintenance of all common and limited common areas by drawing up the daily planning for individual technicians.
- Coordinates absences, vacation requests and personal time
- Responsible for coordinating and/or conducting annual preventative maintenance with on-site maintenance staff or vendors.
- Responsible for the scheduling and supervision of the outside vendors for preventative maintenance or special projects.
- Maintain and order supplies
- Keeps data updated in the AMS/BPM software/programs
- Monitors logs and documentation
- Ensures deadlines are met
- Maintains a list of current approved vendors for the property as well as for the homeowners to utilize.
- Contribute to the yearly budget preparation and maintain the maintenance/janitorial budget throughout the year.
- Manage and follow Maintenance Plan and Reserve Study
- Keep current on all safety requirements/monitoring and implementation as well as SDS changes throughout the year.
