Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator primarily will respond to customer needs and cultivates customer relationships with vendors, as well as being the contact point for our stores, warehouses, and distribution centers for facility issues after initial bids. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator manages a range of vendor contracts as well as firsthand repair of heating and cooling systems, pavement maintenance, landscaping, alarm systems, plumbing, electrical and other matters to maintain a great appearance of our existing +50 showrooms, parking lots, driver areas, distribution centers and headquarters. This role is based in our Boise, ID headquarters and will require travel.
What You Will Do
- Negotiate bids and secure contract approval for a range of facilities, Showrooms, distribution centers and HQs.
- Facilitate vendor contracts and support correct invoicing for including and not limited to:
- Grounds keeping, landscaping, electricians, heating & cooling, lighting, plumbing, snow removal. And other matters as they arise.
- Maintains a log and sees that annual inspections get done for Fire sprinkler systems, backflows etc.
- Be point of contact for onsite Managers and Regional General Managers to collect, organize and escalate bids and repair work for authorization.
- Maintain and coordinate with service vendors for landscaping and snow removal contracts across the company.
- Assist in the repair and installation of pavement ranging from filling potholes, street shoulders, truck ramps and general paving for all locations.
- Help manage repairs and vendor management for all aspects of roofing matters.
- Maintain turf areas, landscaping and build irrigation systems.
- Keep parking lots, sidewalks, flower beds, turf areas free of leaves and debris.
- Set up weekly clean-up schedule for company properties with manager.
- Perform other special projects or duties when assigned.
Who You Are
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Able to lift a minimum. of 75 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis safely.
- HVAC repair experience, landscaping and fixing pavement.
- Experience with negotiating maintenance contracts.
- Comfortable at heights up to 25’.
- Conscientious.

- Our positions require successfully completing the pre-employment background check and signing a nondisclosure agreement.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED or Associates degree preferred and not required. +1 years work as a facilities coordinator, grounds maintenance crew, landscaping and/or HVAC maintenance or equivalent.
