Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Welder/Fabricator position with a shop located in Lebanon, OR. The person in this position will be working on several projects utilizing blueprints to fabricate structural steel, machinery, and components for field installation. Work will be a mix of shutdown work in the field in areas like Eugene, OR, Toledo, OR, and Albany, OR. Per diem is paid when relevant.
Pay: $24-$30/hr
Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Most projects utilize flux core welding.
- Other projects may require stainless MIG, TIG and/or stick knowledge.
- Fit and fabricate from prints.
- Work on structural steel, industrial machinery, and piping.
- Travel as needed throughout Oregon.
Welder/Fabricator Qualifications:
- Able to read blueprints.
- Fit and Fabrication skills preferred.
- Excellent wirefeed MIG skills.
- Strong ability to self-manage.
- AWS D1.1 certification preferred.
- Must have proper tools to accomplish jobs.
- Fork lift and overhead crane operation experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure and other layout tools proficiently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Pass a drug screen.
Compensation:
- $24-$30/hr
- Per diem when applicable ($50-75/day depending on distance from shop)
