The Hospital Manager will partner with the Medical Director and is responsible for many aspects of the business. Most important, you will build a positive culture and cultivate trust with our existing team. This is a “hands-on” position, and the Hospital Manager is expected to assist the hospital in various areas as needed (general technician duties, client service, patient restraint, etc.).

• Assisting with veterinary technician and front desk duties
• Complaint resolution
• Managing/training the support team
• Creating schedules for all team members
• Inventory and budget management
• Ensuring that safety protocols are followed
• Monitoring hospital flow
• Client communication and education

Your qualifications:

• Background in veterinary medicine (HM, CVT)
• Effective and collaborative communication
• Resilient and able to handle emotional and challenging situations
• Experience managing budgets
• Team-focused and works well with others
• Ability to communicate respectfully and tactfully with difficult clients
• Strong leader with training experience
• Computer skills
• Self-motivated and action oriented
• Ability to work with little direct supervision

Cat Care Professionals in Lake Oswego, OR, is a busy, feline-only general practice prioritizing high quality medicine and exceptional client care – client service is key in our clinic! Our hospital is well-equipped and modern, with up-to-date standards of care and located in a high-end community. We are small but growing fast, with 4 DVMs and a skilled team of support staff, including strong CSR, CVT, and boarding leads. Our team members are cross-trained and share responsibilities throughout the hospital, creating a cohesive, communicative environment with high job satisfaction and low turnover. Our team members are currently working toward Fear Free certification, and we have long term goals to become practice certified.
