Executive Director Job at The Amy Schulz Child Advocacy Center
POSITION TITLE: Executive Director
SUPERVISOR: Board of Directors
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Executive Director oversees all functions of The Amy Center. The Director also acts as the community liaison for The Amy Center by performing public information as well as professional in-service sessions throughout the year. The Director meets with the
Board of Directors monthly to assess and report progresses and difficulties.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises MDT Coordinator, Prevention Educator, Advocates, Office
Manager/Intake Coordinator and Volunteers
- Hiring of new employees
- Forensic interviewing
- Public relations
- Creates and coordinates fundraising efforts
- Grant writing and development
- Quarterly grant reporting
- Prepares and maintains agency budget
- Directs all activities at the Center
- Program development
- Conducts community awareness programs
- Meet with and reports to the Board of Directors
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Oral & written communication
- Organization and management skills
- Public speaking ability
- Experience in the child welfare system
- Experience in the juvenile and criminal justice system
- Knowledge and sensitivity to family systems and child victimization
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in social work or other human service related field preferred. Two (2) years of administrative experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
