Position Summary:
The CEO of a well-established real-estate development corporation based in the heart of downtown Milwaukee is seeking an experienced and high level Executive Assistant to partner with him to handle both daily administrative and technology needs, as well as project management tasks. This position will report directly to the CEO and will function as the right hand and gatekeeper. This dynamic role will be the perfect fit for a professional who seeks a role where collaboration, creativity, efficiency, and intellect are key!
Responsibilities:
- 360-degree administrative management for the office of the CEO.
- Partner with the CEO and other executives on projects and proposals, including editing and submitting RFP responses, RFIs, sales presentations, and complex business plans and proposals.
- Act as gatekeeper for all calls, mail, and emails; draft outgoing correspondence, compose emails and memos.
- Organize and prepare for all aspects of business meetings and events, including scheduling, confirming attendance, organizing rooms, technology, and meals.
- Assist in the design of corporate brochures, mailers, and the website.
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel. Prepare itineraries and reconcile expenses.
- Manage and update a contact database. Execute personal needs including reservations, acquiring theater tickets, and sending gifts.
- Assist with planning social, professional, and civic events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven years' professional experience.
- Tech savvy; highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); database experience; fast and accurate typist – can take dictation.
- Some financial acumen, with the ability to prepare spreadsheets.
- Great follow-through – knows how to get the job done, on time, and accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptable to changes, while able to honor classic business practices and the art of personal touch.
- Flexible to do whatever it takes to make the day run smoothly.
- High aesthetic or design sensibility a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; a minimum of two years of advanced education at an accredited university or technical school required.
Schedule:
A full-time Monday through Friday workweek in the office from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with the flexibility to very occasionally work later hours when needed. Please note that this position is in-office. Remote work is not an option. Immediate interviews available. Flexible start date.
Compensation:
Compensation of $100,000+ annually, depending on experience. Relocation assistance provided for the right regional candidate (Chicagoland, Minneapolis, Green Bay, Detroit, etc.).
